Celebrating 90 Years
A historic castle provided the setting for SPIG’s 90th anniversary celebration, hosting nearly 200 guests in an atmosphere that reflected both the weight of our heritage and the warmth of the people who have shaped it.
Local producers were invited to present and offer tastings of high-quality regional specialties, demonstrating that roots and tradition hold equal importance to reach, technical expertise, and performance.
The event celebrated cross-border team spirit with colleagues from international branches and paid tribute to long-serving SPIG pillars, whose dedication has defined the standards that guide our daily operations.
SPIG also confirmed its support for the Vikings basketball team of Paruzzaro, recognizing that team building is a long-term commitment. When pursued with the right approach, sport fosters immediate positive behaviors and lasting continuity.
Art provided voice, identity, and color to the occasion. Federico Landini’s VISION FUTURE FLOW transforms the company’s logo into a living visual language, while Franco Pulacini’s Emulsione restores meaning to reclaimed materials.
In a gesture of reciprocity, SPIG donated defibrillators and continues to offer ongoing AED training within the company.
The sense of cohesion was tangible throughout the day, expressed through smiles, shared stories, and a collective sense of pride. The entire event was documented on video.
SPIG-GMAB moves forward with respect for its past and a clear commitment to innovation. The future is envisioned as a path of continued growth, grounded in responsibility, driven by performance and people, and always oriented toward what lies ahead.
What we witness in the company today would not have been achievable without the concrete and continuous contribution of all the people who, in the past and present, have worked with dedication, discipline, and vision for the solid and sustainable growth of the company: employees, customers, technical and commercial partners, and every collaborator around the world. A truly special thank you goes to all of you.
Every artwork exists as two artistic acts: the act of creation by the author and the act of perception by the receiver. And each remains mute unless joined by the other. Emulsione by Franco Pulacini explores the tension between elements that blend and those that maintain their identity. Using reclaimed industrial cooling materials, including SPIG fill, the artist transforms discarded components into a visual system of contrasts, balance, and coexistence.
From a broader perspective, the work illustrates how SPIG, through its process, embodied in circuits and chips as symbols of technology and engineering, governs flow and motion, represented by the water drop: a nod both to industrial process control and to environmental resource responsibility. The vivid external color contrasts with colder industrial tones and shapes, emphasizing the relationship between technology and the natural world.
The title suggests a delicate and unstable equilibrium, becoming a metaphor for a conscious approach to essential and transparent resources such as water and air. Rather than proposing complete fusion, the work highlights the importance of recognizing differences while allowing them to coexist, suggesting that value emerges both from integration and from respecting what remains distinct.
