El agua caliente fluye a trav\u00e9s del sistema secuencialmente, comenzando caliente en la secci\u00f3n seca externa por encima de los eliminadores de gotas, luego se preenfr\u00eda antes de la distribuci\u00f3n a los medios de relleno de la secci\u00f3n h\u00fameda. Un sistema de vac\u00edo deslizante garantiza el efecto sif\u00f3n en los haces de tubos (secci\u00f3n seca), reduciendo la carga de trabajo en las bombas de agua circulante.<br>Las torres de enfriamiento h\u00edbridas son particularmente ventajosas cuando se debe minimizar el uso de agua y evitar las columnas visibles, que pueden ser perjudiciales en entornos sensibles como el tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo o las \u00e1reas residenciales.
